Kresty's Other D-O - Lego of course

Just realized the weights are working.  Stable with the head on top:

Dio's Starting to Take Shape
Just laying the head on the neck on the rims.  Obviously no wheel, but he's starting to get there.  (and he doesn't fall over with his head on top!)

Biggest bit is probably the tire, though I have to figure out how to get the neck attached to the rod.  Hmmm, could've added antenna for the pix at least!

Well, I finally got a servo actually working in the model... and it's not even a "real" moving part!

Since the two-part head nose spun so readily, Lara asked if it could rotate.  Nikita's like "It doesn't do that in the movie dad!"  So, here's the bits for our D-O's twitchy nose:

Well, we got him standing for ECCC 2023.

Not rolling yet and really unstable. Didn't get the top head servo in yet, and the arm isn't locked in place, so the whole armature just flops around. I printed a little flat that fits over several of the treads to keep him upright and to allow a prop to hold his head in place. Which worked well.

Lego BB-8, D-O, H-O15 Sentry, MCK-Y, Toolbox, L3-G0

I took a few pix of adding the arm and neck parts, so I'll try to post those in a while.
