Parts List

There are a few groups of parts needed for this build. This list is based on the parts used by Kresty for Kresty's Build.

3D Printed Parts

The 3D printed Parts are discussed in more detail on the 3D Parts Page.

Top

  • 1 Top Cap
  • 11 Top Segments. (typically 5 double and 1 single segment)
  • 11 Top Coil Sockets
  • 11 Top Coil Mounts
  • 11 Heatsinks (1 piece with support or 3 pieces without support)

Base

  • 16 Buttons (E Band)
  • 8 Round Caps (E Band)
  • 8 Lower Hose Long Nipples (E Band)
  • 8 Lower Hose Short Nipples (G Band)
  • 8 Upper Hose Main Mounts (I Grill)
  • 8 Upper Hose Tee Mounts (M Ring) (2 part with nipple)

Optional

  • 11 Vanes (instead of laser cut)

Laser Cut "Flat Pack" Parts

The Flat Pack parts are also discussed in more detail on the Flat Pack Styrene Parts Page.

Base

  • Unused - C half bands (not used)

  • 1 J-top grill ring.
  • 2 K half rings
  • 1 L window strip
  • 1 M Top Ring
  • 11 Vanes for top fan

Diffuser (translucent)

  • 2 Main grill diffuser halves
  • 2 Window diffuser halves

Optional:

  • 8 E² E Band squares (instead of 3D printed round parts)

Additional

  • 8 lower hoses - 1/4" drip hose, 10" each (7' total) (25cm, 4mm ID, 2m total)

For the lower hose/wire I'm using 10" of 1/4" black porous soaker hose. (25cm each of 4mm hose, 2m total) I like the texture, however wire/cable or other hose could also be used.

  • 8 upper hoses - 8" each (6' total) of 7/16"OD & 5/16ID clear vinyl hose. (19-20cm each, 1.6m total, 11mm OD, 8mm ID) - such as is used for fish tanks. Available in many hardware stores.
  • 11 wire coils - 48" or 1.2m each (44' or 13.2m total) - 1.5mm or 14 gauge, copper or dark rust color.

Of course builders will also need appropriate primer/paint, glue and putty/filler.

Optional

10' (3m) coiled cable and fittings for plug to droid.
