Ok, a way better picture, fixed his eye and his voice box.  Eye is spray painted, Lego doesn't make that part in translucent black.  Tried dying, that failed miserably.  It instantly went from "Gee, someone's trying to make a BB-8" to "That's BB-8!!!!"

See if he can make it to the theater tonight.

Well it does seem he needs to learn how to use sandpaper. All of his droids are all bumpy.

I used sandpaper!  And a file (well a couple files!)

BB-8's been hanging out @ work, but on weekends we're working on upgrades. We need to figure out how to make him roll, and part of that is experimentation!

He's not too keen on this plan....
