Bug photo upload avatar option doesn't work
#1
I don't know why I'm bothering posting a bug because I'll probably fix it by just getting rid of the button, but...

Lara noticed that if you upload a picture, then it gives you the option to make that your avatar.  Since the gallery and the forum are different software bits, it doesn't actually work.  I imagine it might set your gallery avatar, but those never show up anywhere.

If you want an avatar, use the settings in the User CP, you can upload a (< 10K) file there.

could you please post a screen capture of the page that button is on? I don't see it anywhere. (and I'm curious)

This is the flash upload after files are uploading. Maybe "my icon" doesn't mean what I thought it did? There must be another way to get to this page without uploading a new file, it's too useful.

(and the picture I uploaded to test itSmile

I do not have that radio button in this dialog when I upload a file. And even stranger, it's not mentioned in the documentation in it's description of this dialog

Ok, that's really strange. I'll try FireFox, maybe my browser's being odd.

I think maybe you looked at the edit pics link, eg: http://rebeldroids.net/gallery/editpics.php?album=51 - that does *not* have the icon radio button.

However if I upload a file, then it goes to http://www.rebeldroids.net/gallery/editp...1486418961, which does have the icon....

Hmm, if I click to one of my albums, then I do have the button - http://rebeldroids.net/gallery/editpics.php?album=10 - so I guess you get the button if it's "your" photo (or album)?

Anyhoo, the button doesn't seem to work.

Easiest thing to do is to disable the button.
2nd might be to make it go to the user profile avatar page to set it themselves?
Hardest would probably be to try to make it work. If you think that's important, I could take a look next month.

I don't think it's important at all. We can do without the button.

Fixed - kinda - I just removed the line from the .php files. I wanted to find a CSS solution, but it wasn't trivial.
