Adding Images FYI
#1
Adding Images is a tiny bit annoying.

First, click the images in the upper right menu to go to the gallery.

In the Gallery hit My Albums and Create/Order My Albums (only the first time or for a new album)

Select "New Album", give your new album a name, and hit OK.

Then, back in the top left menu, hit "Upload File"

NOTE: Please choose the new HTML5 uploader option.  This allows easier upload and editing of titles/etc for your whole batch at once.

Select the HTML5 Uploader (your choice is remembered), pick an album, stub in the title & description &/or tags as desired (they can be tweaked per-file later).  Drag & Drop (or browse) your images, then pick the continue to "Edit uploaded files" option once the files are all uploaded.

HTML5 Uploading Example
Pick "Multiple Files - HTML5-driven for the best experience!

Older Flash version instructions.  Note that the older multiple file upload UI requires Flash, so you'll have to make sure your browser allows flash and let Rebeldroids.Net use Flash or use the single file interface (annoying).

In the Upload UI, pick the Album you want to upload to.  (Hint: if you were viewing the album it's probably already selected.)

Browse for your file(s), and when they've ALL uploaded, hit "Continue".

After uploading, you have an opportunity to give your images names, descriptions, &/or keywords.  It's not required, but Title's help keep the HTML from being confused when embedding them, and keywords can help folks looking for images.

After entering the metadata, click your image to see it in your gallery.

When posting, select "Display File Information" for the image you want to include in your post.

Copy the "BBCode" info to display your image.

In your post, click "Preview Post" to get to the source

And hit the "View Post Source" button on the right side of the post toolbar.

Paste the BBCode you copied from the image above into the post source:

Then, when posted or previewed, you'll see your image in the post!

Note that when you copy an image link from the gallery, the BBCode will include the Title and Description of the image if they were provided.

In gallery there's an icon to the left above the picture [Image: info.png] - if you click on that icon, then underneath the filmstrip, there'll be a BB-Code box.  Copy that & paste it in the post - it works a little better if you paste it in the view-source mode, but it'll still work.

Bumping this thread - I added pictures and better explanations of the steps to post an image in the gallery. Gallery images can be higher resolution and show up bigger in the posts than images attached directly to the thread.
