A few pictures and videos.
The top needs a little finishing and then it's on to the drive and details.

Of course this is 1/2 scaled, so gives you an idea next to a R2 unit too.

No problem at all.

I wished I did a build blog.
Because there's a lot of chamfering.
But made easy as I already have a 45degree chamfer.
Everything fits beautifully, but will need a lot of finishing. (I haven't started that process yet)

I will go through the entire process again on a 1:1 build. As I have some excellent tips for this specific build.
If done right you can make this in an afternoon (I did today)

Not entirely sure what replaces the green led though (artistic merit) as I can't find any reference to this particular side.

I would be extremely happy to answer any questions though.

I'm not sure what you mean by Green LED. The blue is "Front", so which side has the green? (Don't have my pictures in front of me)

Ok, Alan, we're curious, inquiring minds want to know: Is this one from the plans you were working on or from the flatpacks Savage posted? I know you started before Savage posted those, so I was wondering. (It'd be cool if the plans were vetted with a real build, but it's still a cool build anywaySmile

Nit: I'm not dissing, it's a great build, but doesn't the base of the Y of the antennae mount point toward the front?  (Centered Blue LED)?  I think it's the short antenna that points that direction.

It's amazingly difficult to see in my pictures, but Savage's "front" view shows one of them perpendicular to the edge.
