Can anyone change a CDR (CorelDraw) file to AI?

The files gallery is a little odd, to get the zip, click the link, then click the thumbnail of the file on that page.
The .zip has some example pages in CorelDraw and in PDF. It's also got a huge bit showing how I did the layout for 8.5x11. But it'd be best for folks using AI if someone could import the CDR to AI - you can do it from the PDF, but a bajillion little stars make that inefficient.
