The first 3d printed part is done! Dome is sliced into 4 parts. Printed in ABS without any support or raft. 1.75mm holes for easy alignment when gluing together :

I am printing non stop until the droid is fully printed. But i will be going away for a few days tomorrow.

Soon done! Had to make some adjustments on fingers, arms and so on for better mobility and accessibility. Minimal gluing and easier parts to sand down for that crisp Finnish. Hoping to get it all painted and weathered next week. If my paint arrives in time.
