The WED-15-ST68 name came from Wookiepedia as the name associated with the droid at the sale scene. I am not sure where the Septoid name came from as the droid clearly has eight arms.
On to the mast:
3-inch ABS pipe for the main mast with a 3D printed part for the base of it and the top of it.

The mast topper topper is the same from the video of the head only larger. The partial mast I used in the head video was too small.

" />
The main plate is a 15-inch wood disk with 3D printed details for everything else.

" />
Used aluminum rod for all the wire pieces that make up the supports for the legs.

Here is a little tease of an arm attached to the base. I wanted to see how the wire supports would hold the arm in position.

" />
Also needed to add fake pneumatic cylinders and know how long to make them.

" />
Paint to the wire parts.

Mounted the neck motor under the orange topper in the same way as before. Got all the wires mounted as well.

Next up will be arms.
