GOUD-4 mouse droid - ‘Solo’ film

It’s been a fun & busy week (as well as HOT ).
Started on the upper body build, all wood of course lol. Had some issues tho with scale of plans, should of checked but one thing and another, and assumptions, meant I had to adjust the plans to suit. Also realised that the plans could do with additional info like this picture, scale of transmitter sat on the top channel, shows how high the sides are.


Back to the build…
Started with the base structure.
Then added the first side panel, PVA glue and then fibre mat with resin to strengthen the joints.

The car support brackets were bolted to the frame (above picture)


Holoprojector panel secured temporary in place to help with spacing.

The central section was added.


Now on the last section.
This is a solid build….lol I know I replaced the springs, and the car itself is heavy…just have to see how it manages once complete.
