It's a router that's has some CnC like correction for the human wobbles.


You put funny dot-tape on the work surface.  It uses those to figure out where it is and where your part is.  You place things like the screen above using the picture it captured.  I'd like to figure out how to get that a bit more precise.

When you cut you follow the screen.  As long as it's "close", it wiggles the router to be in the right place for a cut on the curve you're trying to cut.


It seems to do a decent job.  Edges are reasonably straight.  These two parts were about the same when I stuck them on top of each other.

You can see a little bobble here - I think that turning the corner put unexpected forces and yanked it around in my hands faster than it could retract.  (If you move too far it retracts).  As you can see from the rest of the bits, it gets back on track.
