I will widen the base plan by 50mm first and see if it still looks correct. If it looks incorrect I'll scale the whole model up until the base reaches the 50mm difference.

With regards to the current skirt I have, I've taken off 3rows either end. Which appears to now fit... Time will tell next week.
Once the skirt is all glued up, it's then I'll find out what else will be required.
