Across the top of the forum, right below the banner, it says;
"Welcome back, Paul6700. You last visited: Today, 11:16 AM (User CP — Log Out)"
Click on User CP and it will take you to your control panel. On the left hand side of the control panel there's a menu with some categories. There's Messenger, Your Profile and Miscellaneous. You can expand Your Profile if it isn't already expanded and under 'edit profile' you'll see "Change Avatar"
Click on that
