Hi!

I'm Toby from Germany and intend to build an 1:1 MSE-6 Mouse Droid.
Yesterday I ordered a vacuum formed Styrol Body from the States. Smile

Looking forward to start building!

Pleased to meet you Toby!
We're particularly fond of MSE droids around here. Glad to have you!

Careful, though. Droids are addicting and MSEs are a gateway droid. Wink

Thank you very much!
Yes, I think a MSE-6 is a good start into the Droid Building-World. Smile
I know the R2-Builders for years and love what they are doing, but unfortunately I don't have enough time, money, skills (like to change that) and space at the moment, to realize such a project. So I think a Mouse Droid is a nice alternative.
I liked these anyway and never saw a working one on a Convention yet (contrary to R2's).

Mice are definitely a good start, though we built ours second!

Welcome, Toby. You really don't need any skills or a large space to build a droid (I built mine in a tiny townhouse on a tiny table with no skills at all). MSE's are fun, and a great start to droid building. I've been running mine around at local cons and events for almost a year now, and everyone just loves it! When you get your shell start your build page on this forum. We would love to see your progress. (I know, Kresty, I need to post in mine but I never took pics while building King Arthur. I was too busy watching the Superbowl while building to remember pics. LOL).
