I made a thing.

Felt like building something. Both my roommates are Dr. Who fans so I threw this together in a day for about $28 in materials.

Planning stage:

The signage I printed out at my shop on our color laser printer. Pretty much all of this is just 3/8" foamcore and blue spray paint. The window is foam core, although when you cut it that thin it starts to fall apart so I might redo it in polystyrene. I'm practicing with it anyway in anticipation of building my R5-D4.

The handle is a $2 door handle from Lowe's and the shiny bits are sparkly paper from an arts and crafts store. I took a couple of creative liberties (the sign should be 1 block lower, but I liked it being higher up so it's easier to see) but all in all I think it came out pretty good.

Considering I did my proton pack in 2 months I didn't think this was bad for one day.
100% death proof
