I don't know what's up with that either.  I hope they're not missing.  Hopefully it's just CSS or something from the update.

Gallery photos are fine.  I'd suggest adding photos to the gallery, then using copying the file info there to the post.  (There's a button that shows the spew for the file attachments)

In the meantime, you can add pictures to your album in the gallery, then use the "file info" icon to cut & paste the code to include that image into a post. (Or use other techniques).

Attachments are behaving again... the updated .php files were accidentally adding a UTF-8 BOM to the beginning of the binary image files, corrupting them. Normally I like BOM's, but not in this example!
