HoseNose's H015 build
#1
So it begins.

In order to help my pea-sized brain comprehend all the geometry of our lil' sentry friend, I thought I would start with a 1/4 scale cardstock model before I jumped right into the full build.

I scaled down SavageCreature's flat pack templates and put together this quick n' dirty model:

A couple of questions that did come up while putting this together:

  1. Is there a small gap between the top and bottom halves of the head? From the reference pictures and from what I can figure out, there appears to be a .125" (3mm) reveal between the top and bottom pieces. Or am I crazy?

  2. The neck appears to have the corners chamfered as well. Does anybody have any ideas as to the length of the chamfered corner? Judging by the other corners I'm guessing it's somewhere around 1"?
Aaaaaand that's as far as I have gotten so far. I have another project on the go at the moment so until I get that finished and out of my way I probably won't have much time to focus on this build. It might be awhile before I post any more progress.

Cheers,
Steve "HoseNose"
