I went ahead and made a subforum for the DRK-1 and put the few threads we have here...

I uploaded my absolutely horrible 3D model here http://www.rebeldroids.net/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=94 - real 3D models will go in that album once we've gotten something figured out.
In summary, it appears to be 9-12" in diameter (wookiepedia says 0.3m, which is almost 12". Movie stills show about head sized.)
