Pit Droid v1.0 - DroidFan41 - 08-18-2016
Hey, I just found this group today. I've been a member of the R2 group since 2008. I'm currently building my 4th 1:1 R2 and have always wanted a Pit Droid. I've been working on a 3D model and have printed v1.0 to test the ball joints, motion, all the part fittings.
I know my dome profile is off, and I don't have all the under dome details yet. My bicep, and forearms need work, and I'm thinking the foot width too. Let me know what you guys think and I can start on v2.0!
I'm fairly new to the 3D world and have been learning on the go. Same with 3D printing. I've had my printer for just over a month now. No better way to learn than to do!

The model is being done in AutoDesk Inventor.

Here is a progress picture of where I'm at so far. Still needs a few tweeks here and there. I'm open to comments/suggestions.
I know everyone sees things differently and maybe things I don't.
